We present preliminary data from a twenty-week ‘diary’ study of 250 devoted Christians. The study is the first in a planned series of three studies, using the same sample of participants, which examines the temporal dynamics of prayer, stress, and well-being at different temporal resolutions: weeks, hours, and seconds.
