We are very happy to announce that well known associates of IMC, Uta and Chris Frith are the 2014 winners of the Prix Jean Nicod. It is in deed well deserved. Congratulations from all of IMC!

The Friths have been awarded the award for their extraordinary contribution in their fields of science and for their lifelong academic commitment and achievements. Chris Frith is the author of a number of important neuroscience books, including the classic The Cognitive Neuropsychology of Schizophrenia (1992) and the popular science book Making up the Mind (2007), while Uta Frith has pioneered much of the current research in autism and dyslexia. She is the author of several books on the issue, such as Autism: Explaining the Enigma.

Coming to Aarhus

The couple will receive the prestigious award at the Jean Nicod Conference taking place November 12-20 in Paris, where they are also both listed as conference speakers. Before the Friths go to Paris to claim their well earned award, they will how ever visit Aarhus University before that. Chris and Uta are scheduled to come as guest researchers at IMC from August 24 and through out September. A good opportunity to stop by and congratulate the Friths on the Prix Jean Nicod.
