Special fNIRS Seminars

Save the Dates! Seminars start 15 September

This fall, we are pleased to welcome a four fNIRS experts for a special seminar series. All four talks will be given by Zoom. A 45 minute-1 hour presentation will be given followed by 1-hour for questions and discussion. The complete schedule is below.

The first part of the series will occur in September. Xu Cui (Stanford University, U.S.A.) will kick off the event on 15 September. He is a theoretical neuroscientist renowned for authoring seminal research in synchrony during social interaction. His presentation will review of the state of fNIRS research. Please note that this talk will occur at a special time. Antonia Hamilton (UCL, U.K.) is a leader in fNIRS and social neuroscience. Much of her work focused on social development in healthy and autistic children. She will present her research on 23 September.

The second part of the series will occur in November. Leonhard Schilbach (Max Planck Institute, Germany) will conclude the series on 17 November. He is a leader in second-person neuroscience and specializes in social interaction and psychiatric disorders.
