In this talk we fuse design principles, patterns and signature pedagogy in an effort to point towards a Œpedagogy of playful formation for future-oriented education.¹ A vocabulary and a framework, as well as some educational formats and activities are presented and discussed to point towards some playful principles, patterns, and pedagogy for fostering and promoting more playfulness and imagination in education.

Yishay Mor, Dr Yishay Mor is the head of the centre for innovation and excellence in teaching at the Levinsky college of education. After a successful career as a researcher in AI and as a software engineer, Dr. Mor shifted his focus to education and joined the London Knowledge Lab as a researcher, where he also completed his PhD. Dr. Mor has published widely on educational design practice and research. He has led and participated in several projects which explored the articulation and reuse of educational design knowledge, and through these projects developed a set of methodologies for analysing effective designs and transferring the lessons learnt back into practice. These projects resulted in two books and several journal special issues, which Dr. Mor co-edited. http://www.yishaymor.org/
