 Marissa Gemma is a Senior Research Fellow at the Max-Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics. She holds a PhD in English and American literature from Stanford University. She is the author of several articles, including “Towards a Digital Study of the Colloquial Style in Nineteenth-Century American Literature”, and a co-author of the recent Pamphlet 11 “Canon/Archive. Large-scale Dynamics in the Literary Field” from Stanford Literary Lab.
