Abstract:
In this talk I will give an overview of some families of approaches aimed to infer information flow in multivariate dynamical systems. I will present approaches rooted in information theory, and others based on autoregressive models, and explore bridges between them, also addressing the issue of variables sharing similar information on the future of a target. I will then present some multidisciplinary applications.
