Conference: “It takes two tango: A translational approach to self-other dynamics”

Registration is now open for this one-day conference taking place at the University of Birmingham on Monday 6th of July.

We are pleased to announce that the registration for our conference “It takes two tango: A translational approach to self-other dynamics” is now open. This one-day conference takes place at the University of Birmingham, on Monday 6th of July, 2015, and is sponsored by the College of Life and Environmental Sciences. The deadline for registration is June 30th, 11:59pm (BST). The conference has a maximum capacity of 60 attendees so please register early to secure your participation.

Our conference features speakers from the University of Birmingham, Peking University, University College London, King’s College London and University of Oxford, who will explore the methods and recent insights into self–other cognition. Implications of this research for typical and atypical populations will also be discussed. The conference now accepts abstract submissions for poster presentations. The top three posters will be selected to take part in the Data Blitz session. Each presenter will have 3 minutes to present his/her findings. In addition, during the evening reception, we will award one poster presenter judged to have the most transformative and innovative poster idea, with a monetary prize of £100. The winner will have the opportunity to give a 3-minute oral presentation of his/her work.
