Ida Selbing

New face at IMC

Ida Selbing has from 1 August 2018 started at AU as an Assistant Professor involved in the INSOR (Integrative Social Robotics) project. Her main research interests concerns learning, since it allows behavior to be flexible and adaptable, and decision making, since learning often cannot be understood without considering decision making. Ida did her PhD at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm where she applied psychophysiological, behavioral and computational methods to investigate social learning of fear and avoidance. In her current position she will focus on understanding how humans perceive, react to and interact with robots and how this is influenced by the behavior of the robot.
