2018.09.12 | Anne-Mette Pedersen

Jess is joining the IMC as an intern for Arndis Simonsen and Riccardo Fusaroli. Her primary interest is in how multiculturalism and multilingualism interact with mental health, but she is also interested in creativity and motivation (flow theory!). Currently, Jess is assisting with transcribing and analyzing speech patterns of Mandarin Chinese speakers diagnosed with schizophrenia. She will also look into how semantics manifests in negative emotions and thought disorder. Jess holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Brandeis University and is now doing her master's degree in Cognitive Semiotics at AU.

Jess will be in office 1483-318. Come by and say hello!
