Mental Health Conference

Aarhus University is hosting a major international Mental Health Conference with the participation of some of the world’s leading experts on evidence-based programmes for better mental health for individuals, organizations, and society.

Chris Ruane is one of the key note speakers and he introduced mindfulness to the British Parliament. An all-party parliamentary group reviewed the scientific evidence, developed policy recommendations for governments and implementation in public policy. This work is published in The Mindfulness Nation UK rapport and recommends mindfulness in healthcare, education, workplace and in criminal justice system.

In addition to the conference Saki Santorelli, director at the Center For Mindfulness, University of Massachusetts Medical School facilities a full day workshop on mindfulness and Leah Weiss from Stanford Graduate School of Business teaches a full day workshop on compassion.
