Everyone is welcome to join Friday’s Writing Café! It is a completely open, self-organized space for doing some concentrated writing on an article, grant proposal etc., facilitated by the simple workings of peer pressure. You can join the Writing Café every week or just sometimes, be there for the whole time or just a part - you choose yourself what works best for you!

The Writing Café takes place every Friday 10.00 -14.00 and we meet in room 1483-312 (IMC meeting room), unless otherwise announced.

During the Writing Café, we follow a fixed routine: We start with 10 min break and relaxed chatting and then repeat 3 cycles of 50 min of quiet writing and 10 min proper breaks. Recommended rules include no emailing, no surfing, just writing; but of course, no one is controlled and you’re welcome to bring e.g. your data analysis project.

Coffee, tea and small snacks provided.
