Workshop four of the IMC postdoctoral training program will be focused on research impact.

The workshop will be led by David Budtz Pedersen, Professor at Aalborg University and Director of the Humanomics Research Centre (David Budtz Pedersen — Aalborg Universitets forskningsportal (aau.dk)). David is a leading expert in science communication and policy advice. His own research focuses on the impact, communication, and governance of science and technology, and he has worked in science policy and governance in Danish and European contexts. The workshop will feature an impact case with Andreas Roepstorff, Director of the Aarhus Institute for Advanced Studies (Andreas Roepstorff — Aarhus University (au.dk)). The workshop will analyse the impact of the successful project HOPE – How Democracies Cope with Covid-19, which measured the Danish populations response to policy interventions during the coronavirus pandemic.
