Christopher Cox
New face at IMC
Chris Cox is a recent MA-graduate of Phonetics & Phonology from the University of York and will be visiting the IMC for two months, from August the 6th to October the 5th.
His research interests involve studying infants’ categorisation of speech sounds in probabilistic frameworks and investigating how infants’ self-generated feedback can drive their developmental trajectories in particular directions during the process of language acquisition.
The purpose of his visit is to formulate a detailed, interdisciplinary PhD-project in collaboration with researchers at Aarhus University and the University of York. Chris will be sitting in room 327 at the IMC.
