Ella Paldam did her doctoral research at the Dept. of the Study of Religion on the revitalization of indigenous traditions in Native California. She joined the PLAYTrack research project at the Interacting Minds Centre in 2017 to explore how children and adults co-create play-based creative learning environments. From 2018 to 2022 Ella led the research in the CollaboLearn project that co-developed play-based social learning environments together with autistic children and their adults. In December 2022, Ella joined The Science Museums at the Faculty of Natural Sciences to lead the education and learning department. As part of her affiliation with the IMC, she will collaborate with Karsten Olsen in the project The Power of Models that investigates the learning potential of modelling-based activities in museums together with The National Museum of Denmark.
