Introducing virtual IMC visitor

This might be a novelty but corona makes it possible: IMC has a new visitor who is not physically in Aarhus.

Janeen Loehr, an associate professor at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, planned to come for a one-year research sabbatical but had to postpone the visit and, until then, is joining IMC virtually.

Janeen is (virtually) involved in the Experimenting, Experiencing, Reflecting (EER) project, collaborating directly with Cordula Vesper. But she’d like to meet other IMC-ers, so just get in touch with her at janeen.loehr@usask.ca for a virtual coffee chat!

Janeen’s research investigates the cognitive and neural mechanisms that allow people to coordinate their actions with others. Her work examines questions such as how people precisely coordinate their actions in time (such as during ensemble music performance), monitor their own and others’ actions to achieve shared goals, and experience a sense of joint agency or shared control over their actions when coordinating with others.
