Many Applicants to the new international BSc in Cognitive Science
Everybody - or at least a large number of prospective undergraduate students - wants to be a cognitive scientist
The new international BSc program in Cognitive Science is highly popular among the young people applying for admittance to Aarhus University. The education initiative that springs from the research environments around The Interacting Minds Centre, The Center of Functionally Integrative Neuroscience and The School of Communication and Culture, received 681 applications for the 60 vacant places. 328 applied with Cognitive Science as their 1st priority. This meant that potential students need an average grade of 9.9 to be admitted into the program, as can be seen from the webpage of the Danish Ministry for Education and Research.
