From August 1st 2022 Marc Malmdorf Andersen has been appointed Associate Professor of Cognition and Culture at School of Culture and Society, Aarhus University. Marc has a PhD Aarhus University and is currently working as Assistant Professor at IMC where his research focuses on the cognitive processes involved in play and playfulness, recreational forms of fear, and risky play.

In addition to teaching and supervision activities and his role in developing research in the field of cognition and culture, Marc will contribute to developing the Interacting Minds Centre’s research infrastructure, including the development and oversight of laboratory procedures.
