Hej, I’m Ben Mardell, and I’ll be visiting the IMC for two months. I am generally at Project Zero, a research organization at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. When I am in Aarhus I’ll be working with Sav Schulz on a book about our Pedagogy of Play project which aims to bring more play and playfulness into school settings. My background is as an early childhood educator, and I am particularly interested in creating democratic classrooms for children.

When not working, I enjoy playing with my family (hiking, biking, swimming and playing games) and participating in triathlons. During my stay I also hope to improve my Danish, which has been a struggle.
