New postdoctoral training programme at IMC

The Interacting Minds Centre (IMC) is launching a postdoctoral training programme for researchers interested in interdisciplinary research

Workshops

The programme will consist of a set of workshops aimed at developing interdisciplinary research skills. These workshops will focus on the principles and practices of interdisciplinarity, collaboration and project management in multidisciplinary teams, and dissemination and impact of interdisciplinary research. The workshops are open to researchers at the postdoctoral stage, including Assistant Professors, independent of departmental affiliation. In addition to lectures and exercises, the workshops will provide researchers with an opportunity to engage with colleagues from other disciplines.

Seed Funding & Mentoring

In addition to workshops, seed funding will be provided for research activities where at least one researcher is affiliated with the School of Culture and Society (CAS). Research activities involving collaborations between individuals with different disciplinary backgrounds will be prioritised for funding. Seed funding of up to 20,000 DKK, to be used in 2024, will be made available to each project. We hope funding recipients will attend as many of the Autumn training workshops as possible.

The main applicant from each seed funding application will be assigned a mentor to support their interdisciplinary research activities. Mentors will be available for three meetings until the end of 2024.
