New face at IMC

Mads has an MA in philosophy and a PhD in medicine from the Center of Functionally Integrative Neuroscience, AU. After the PhD Mads continued at CFIN as a post-doc and later assistant professor. Since his graduate work Mads has worked with magnetoencephalography (MEG) and electroencephalography (EEG), first investigating sense of agency, i.e. the feeling we have over voluntary actions, and how intentions play a role in generating this experience of control. For the last few years, Mads has been investigating automatic language processing using machine learning and oscillatory neural activity in MEG.

Mads will be teaching in the Cognitive Science BSc and MSc programmes. His office is at Dept. of Philosophy and he also has a desk at CFIN.
